Rich, a native of the greater Capital District area, was brought up in a family where his father was a financial advisor. He built his career from the ground up, beginning at Albany Savings Bank, where he worked his way up to serving as the advisor for several branches in downtown Albany, including Empire State Plaza. After becoming a student of investing, he decided to break out on his own.
For many years, Rich hosted a radio show about financial services, which enabled him to further build up his independent network while also sharing some of the wisdom he’d learned working in the industry. Using his experience and connections in the financial services business, Rich founded Daniels Financial Partners.
Rich’s dedication to truly getting to know his clients and their families has separated him from other advisor firms and allowed him to build a diversified, family-oriented, multi-generational practice. This commitment to family-style personal service is what eventually prompted Rich to bring on an additional partner. After careful thought and many years of exchanging ideas with Jeff, Rich and Jeff decided their combined backgrounds and personal connection would be the perfect fit.
Rich has two sons, Adam and Brian, and currently lives in Chatham with his partner Jen and their two pets, Rex and Molly. Rich holds series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses, is registered as a life and health insurance advisor, and is registered to conduct business in almost all 50 states.
